Technical Industrial Sales,Inc. started operations on January 1st, 1996. Given the owner's knowledge of the market and his very strong personal and professional relationships with the upper 20% of the players in that market, who purchase approximately 80% of the sales target territory, commencing operation was nothing more than continuing with the work done for the previous six years, backed by more than 100 years of combined experience of the company's associates.
Since the beginning, one of our main priorities was to implement an efficient and hi-tech database system. Today, we maintain over 2,600 contacts (mainly consisting of decision-makers in pharmaceutical, hi-tech companies, general industry, hotels and hospitals), that we constantly keep informed with the latest information received from all the manufacturers we represent.
The market is in need of the versatility of a specialized organization like TIS. On the other hand, the market itself is very versatile for us since each country provides its own cyclical "package of opportunities". Our experience allows us to capitalize every year in the opportunities offered by the countries under our responsibility, while we keep our presence in those which will be next year's main source of business in addition to our core business, the Puerto Rican markets.
